2018

My enthusiasm to play Internet poker has dwindled in the past months as most poker sites are a hazard for viruses and protection by software companies are limited.  Over the years having lost many poker sites (some of my favorites and most world top notch) has also played a huge cutback to participating on site.

JANUARY-FEBRUARY
On 2-14-18 I entered a multi-table no-limit re-buy tourney at poker site #21 with a total of 70 players, having to spend extra 2 re-buys in late registration period of 60 minutes and after two hours found myself on the final table ending 3rd place to receive back 991.5% of original investment.  This was the only tournament I entered in the first 2 months of 2018.

MARCH
For the month I entered a total of 3 tournaments, 2 at poker site #21 & 1 at poker site #20 and not coming into any $$ losing my total investments.

APRIL
In the month I entered a total of 4 tournaments, 1 at poker site #20 and 3 at poker site #21 with no return on my investments however, on 4-30-18 was knocked out #17 of 74 players in a multi-table no-limit bounty (1) to receive back 50% of investment.

2017

JANUARY
In beginning a new year there is one poker site that I have found to be a huge success.  Back on January 26, 2015 I joined Poker site #21 where this site gave out free $25 for joining.  In 2-years I have been playing on that original $25 never once depositing any of my own money.  This site presents many freeroll tournaments that people win tickets to cash tournaments.  My entrance to tournaments remain small, never to exceed $5 and I have been a winner at this site.
In January I entered a total of 4 tournaments (2 freerolls) and on 1-5-17 with a total of 34 players I ended champions coming in first with a return of 1545% of initial investment in a money tournament.  I enter February with a bankroll of $60.10 at Poker site #21.
At Poker site #20 I entered 2 freerolls with no luck.  At Poker site #22 I entered 5 money tournaments coming in the $$ in one (1) on 1-13-17 out of 153 total players came in 9th for a return of 347% of initial investment.

2016

FEBRUARY
As for freeroll tournaments at poker site #20 the cost is free on entering, however, these freeroll tourneys do have a re-buy period the first hour and a player can stay in the tournament by paying a small fee.  At the end of the first hour each player still in can pay a small fee to add on 5,000 more chips as part of an add on promotion.  On average 60% of players are eliminated in the first hour of any tournament.
In the month entered 5 freeroll tournaments at poker site #20 with no luck.  At poker site #21 entered 10 poker tournaments with 8 being freeroll and coming into $$ in one and ending on the bubble in one tourney.  On 2-9-16 came in 79 out of 676 total players to make a small amount of $$.
JANUARY
On entering a new year have a total of 7 online poker sites on my desk top with poker sites #1, #2, #10, #12, #19, #20 & #21 to play.  The belief is to just enjoy the thrill of competing with a minimum amount invested.
In January entered 14 poker tournaments at poker site #21 with 13 being freeroll tourneys and coming into $$ in two.  At poker site #20 entered 7 freeroll tournaments with no luck.  Ended the month at 166.36% of investment.

2015

MAY
In the month entered 27 total tournaments including 16 freerolls coming into the $$ in 3 and landing on the bubble in 2 other tourneys. At poker site #21 on 5-17-15 with 30 total players ended in 3rd receiving back 545.45% return on investment.  At poker site #19 on 5-19-15 with 681 players ended 29 receiving back 297.27% return on investment.  At poker site #20 having entered a freeroll on 5-26-15 with a total of 1008 players ended at 12 winning $$.
Still lay low on playing as continue to experience unbelievable burning results.
APRIL
The same old story when your gut is hurting from getting burned you must lay low till the pain disappears.  Entered a total of 14 tournaments including 7 freerolls and ended in the $$ in 1 on 4-22-15 at poker site #21 when ending 2nd of 27 total players in a no-limit (NL) Bounty tourney receiving back 327.27% of initial investment that included 2 bounties.
An example of Bounty tournament is if it cost $2.20 to join then $1 is for the final pot, $1 is a bounty on your head that someone collects if you are knocked out and $.20 on entry goes to the house or poker site.  If you believe that the $.20 for the house is peanuts please realize that the poker site operates hundred of tournaments in a 24-hour day of many different denominations and thousand players.
MARCH
Burn city USA!  The month was nothing short for this poker player who lost in to many tournaments waiting for good cards and ending getting burned out by ridiculous draws by opponents.  As stated in the past, when luck is down and one can feel deep down inside that the cards are against you, just stay away.
Ended the month entering a total of 32 tourneys at 6 poker sites including 15 freerolls (losers) and coming into the $$ in 1 when on 3-29-15 at poker site #10 came in 41 out of 434 total players receiving back 224.54% of initial investment and coming within 10 places of the $$ in one other tournament.

OCTOBER
In the month experienced a deep down feeling of bad vibes and this is typical after a period of good vibes and luck as the cards tend to swing in a behavioral mood much as of  the human being.  At poker sites #2, #10, & #19 entered a total of 8 tournaments with no luck of ending near the $$.
SEPTEMBER
Continued this month feeling good vibes while playing in tournaments.      With the special poker game Deep Stack some tournaments have up to two (2) hours late registration period and by joining the tourney 1 and one half hours after the start gives this poker player a greater chance of ending in the $$ having near 50% of the players already eliminated.  This strategy worked well this month with also having great hands and luck.
At poker site #19 entered 18 tournaments and ending in the $$ in 8 (44.4%) including ending 17 of 367 players with a return of 273.63% of initial investment and in another coming in 5th of 102 players and receiving back 556.36% of initial investment.

At poker site #2 their Deep Stack poker game has all players start with 3,000 chips and no re-buy, level increases occur every 15-minutes and their late registration period is 120-minutes when players can join.  Entered 6 tournaments and came within 10 places of the $$ in two.
APRIL
Desk top computer with Windows XP no longer will have upgrades as for security issues and with Internet Explore 6 not being compatible with many Internet sites changes had to be made.  Purchasing more memory of the desk top has been a blessing for the short time that has increased speed and the ability to remain on the poker sites.
Along with poker sites #1, #10, & #12 have re-installed both poker sites #2 & #19 back on the desk top.  Entered a total of 15 tournaments ending in the $$ in 2 (13.33%) and coming within 10 places in 1 other tourney.  At poker site #2 entered 4 tournaments (first since Jan 2013) having received a bonus from the site with no success.  At poker site #19 entered 6 tourneys ending in the $$ in 2 receiving in return 60%  of total investments.  On 4-7-14 entered a Deep Stack multi-table tournament with 292 players ending in 27th place and on 4-30-14 entered another Deep Stack tourney with 533 players and finishing 53rd and in the $$.
MARCH
This is the first month since 2008 when first joining Internet Poker that this player didn't join at least one tournament.
FEBRUARY
My desk top computer has now only 3 poker sites (#1, #10, & #12) all part of the same poker network and because of computer slow down having trouble staying in poker rooms on the Internet the realization of upgrading software is being less compatible and discouragement exists.  At poker site #12 entered 2 Freeroll tourneys and on 2-2-14 with 758 players came into the $$ by ending 45th to increase my bankroll at poker site.
JANUARY
To begin a new year my love of Internet poker has dwindled because of the passion I have for my writing and fantasy sports commitments.  The changes in the computer software also has much to do with playing Internet poker less as more sites are upgrading their software every day and the cost to make changes with my desk top computer is overbearing.  The plans to upgrade are forthcoming.
At poker site #12 entered 4 Freeroll tournaments and on 1-6-14 out of 1,526 players came into the $$ by ending 73rd to increase my bankroll at the site.  At poker site #10 entered 5 tourneys in the month and came into the $$ once when on 1-10-14 entered a multi-table re-buy tournament with a total of 311 players (re-buying 2-times to remain in) and ending in 28th place to receive in return 317% of total investment.

2013

DECEMBER
NOVEMBER
OCTOBER
SEPTEMBER
AUGUST
JULY
JUNE
MAY
On May 19 entered a bounty tournament at poker site #10 in hopes of breaking a slump of unlucky.  A total of 285 players in tourney with the top 27 in the $$ and entered the 2nd hour before again having a winning pair of Jacks lose all chips by a drawn 5 with the river draw giving a player 3-5's and a huge winning hand with a total of 4 players at the table of 10 players performing all in.  Ended the tourney #76 and having won 3 bounties received back 136% of initial investment.
This is one month that like a pile of dust I would sweep under the carpet or bury six feet deep.  Not only was this an unlucky month but a month that poker site #14 went bankrupt and this member having a bankroll would lose out without receiving back.  This is a first and is another reason why this member plays at these poker sites on the Internet with little to lose.
This member did join a new poker site #19 on 5-29-13 and played in one Freeroll with 1202 players and ending #760.
This member did play one tournament at poker site #14 before the site was deleted off the Internet with their pay station for withdrawal and lost.  At poker site #10 entered 12 tournaments not once coming into the $$ except for return of won bounties and ending 1-tourney on the bubble.
